‘Sniff out the Fox’ 🦊

I wander where the Foxes roam
I have left my love of sea salty foam
Amidst a pale midnight moon so monochrome
Their Dame Mothers au natural home
And I hear that shrill, shriek mating call
Betwixt the boughs where creatures crawl
A setting sun is my enthral
I scrutinise on a dry stonewall
So Dogs hunt as Vixens lie
Cradling cubs with a lullaby
Yet they hide as I hunt and espy
Playing ‘Sniff out the Fox’ with my beady eye…
