snowboots + raincoat

she doesn't know
how could she
my beautiful anchor
companion in life
the point of my loveÂ
my source of relief
my snowboots + raincoat
my candle in storms
my heart's only flower
my soulmate in grief
a daughter my daughter
how can she quite know
that without her I'd crumble
just die and let go
a daughter my daughter
she of kind eyes
and I need her to know
she's my sunset... and rise,
M

Awwww. I do hope your daughter reads your poetry xx
What we find of our loved ones after they die is of much more importance than it ever could be in life... strange that.
I hope so too... one day... hugs xx
Hugs back! â¤ď¸Â
Please write it down and place it on her pillow, Marion.Â
Absolutely stunning words, . Â BÂ
Incredible poetry, put this in an envelope and give it to her, her kind eyes will become flooded with joy and appreciation for her mother dear. Marion, out of all the poems I've ever read from you, this is my favourite because in some ways it makes me see deeply into your soul, repaired enough to be able to write this, and it actually brings me so much comfort. Something my own mother didn't get to say to me. â¤ď¸Â
