Poem -

so i planted sunflowers

by christine dubbeldam (@iwroteforyouiguess on instagram)

So

          One day,  I
          stopped, and I
          thought to
          myself; “I’m so
          lonely”. I didn’t
          know what to do.
          I never felt like this
          before.

I

          made a decision.
          I went to my
          garden, I brought
          a packet of seeds.
          I planted them one
          by one.

Planted

          in my garden, one
          month later, were
          three yellow
          sunflowers. I was
          happy.

Sunflowers

          stood tall and
          proud. I was no
          longer lonely, but
          now the
          sunflowers were
          lonely, so i planted
         daisys.
