So much to do, so little time to do it in ???

Endless queuing in stores
Shopping till you drop
Almost ticked off all your present list
Just need a spinning top

Doesn’t your Xmas tree look
Pretty
Santas coming to your house
The decorations were in your attic
You needed help from your spouse

Wrote all those cards
& Got them posted
Handed some to your friends
One or two missing from your list
So you had to make ammends 

Wrapped all of your presents
You had to do it in stages
So many people to please
It took you absolutely ages

Ordered the turkey & the trimmings
Bought all your vegetables in Tesco
Xmas dinner abroad must be lovely alfreso

You’ve never stopped its Xmas eve
Rushing here & there
So many things left to do
With no minutes left to spare

You shut your living room door
Feeling totally shattered
There is no room left on your floor
Presents everywhere scattered

After a cheeky wine or two
Well you deserved it what a feat
Oh no you’ve suddenly remembered
Forgot to buy the sausage meat

Never mind you’ve chipolatas
They will help to fill the plate
Once you’ve added turkey & veg
Christmas dinner will be great

What a genius you are
So multi talented too
But then again you are a Mother
