So Storm Ciara

So Storm Ciara

So storm Ciara you have reached our shores with your thunderous claps and unfriendly uproars
My windows are getting pelted with your pouring rainĀ
I can sense your severity
I can feel your pain
Battering and bludgeoning with such strong strength
Damaging destructiveness anything at armsā€™s length
Blow wind blow inbetwixt no rest
Get it out of your system
Get it off your chest

Well Ciara you can slay your strife
Team dripdrops from the heavens
As you cut through like a knife
Actually Ciara you can do what you want coz you will not bother me
I am sat cozied on my couch holding a nice cup of tea
I shall sit by my fire whilst you ride your storm watching my flames rising higher keeping wonderfully warm
It is Sunday today and a day of rest so rage all you wantĀ
Put Mother nature to her test

You are raining outside cats and dogs replenishing the reservoirs but bursting all the bogs
Alas through the eye of your storm there is absolutely nothing one can do but to seek safe shelter from your horrible hullabaloo
Tho I fear for the animals that are out in the fields hugging the hedgesides without any shields
They are at oneā€™s mercyĀ
A slave to all weathers
Just like the birds hiding under finery of feathers
Rollon storm Ciaraā€™s Ā conciliation of calm and let us pray her hellishness doesnā€™t cause any harm
Ā

Hi Jill, luckily our village was spared from Ciara's fury. It wasn't that harsh at all than expected;Ā  No heavy rains .
I don't know in some other parts of the Netherlands. I'll wait for the news this morning.Ā  It's dry and a bit cloudy here in the southwest.
Thanks for sharing.
