Devotion,

That's a powerful emotion,

It can dictate every notion,

Every action,

Right down to the smallest fraction,

Is it out of love or contentment,

Is that why we have this resentment,

Resentment to those who better their lives,

Envious of better cars or gorgeous wives,

Is this why it seems all we promote is aggression,

When really instead we should be encouraging progression,

But we don't,

We won't,

Because all we see is negativity,

In the news, in music, on the tv,

We are a community,

But there is no unity,

So let's rebuild a more positive atmosphere,

And knock down the negativity that brought us here.
