Soft Tails + Fur ( happy valentines to my animals, my greatest friends ever ❤)

Do animals feel
All the heaviest sorrows
Empathic and loving
Understanding a thing

Taking over when troubles
Are too hard to bear
Laps full of fur
Paws In the hair

I think that you do, when I feel
your raw tongue
On my face of a morn when
I'm turned away, done
Persistent and clawing and
purring and warm
Letting me know...no,
I'm not done at all

Taking over when troubles
Are too hard to bear
Laps full of fur
Tails In the hair

Insistant and boisterous, pawing
as one
Determined to shake me out,
No...I'm not done...

Knowing a thing
With big hearts full of care
Letting me know that
You're there, you're just...there,

Taking over when troubles
Are too hard to bear
Cats on my shoulder
Dog tails in my hair ❤

Oh I LOVE this Marion 😍 there is something truly magical about our furry friends and their ability to connect to our emotions. They always know when to turn up too. They are an ever reminder of the true beauty we humans can find, if we just allow ourselves to reconnect with nature. A perfect poem for today 💗 hugs xxx

Hi Gwen, my dogs are gone as you know but they walked by my side throughout this awful journey absolutely insistant that I get out of bed. Left to myself I would not. Strangely the cats, my black cat in particular who has never bothered before now wakes me every morning...sitting on me, pawing my face and no amount of burying myself under covers stops her...she crawls in and annoys me until I get up. Its like she knows it's her place to take over!! I find this strangely touching and also completely bizarre!!! ...as if she has been instructed from beyond the grave ...who knows...thanks love ❤

They are amazing aren’t they 💗 do you still have Basil ?

I can’t believe my mum has a pet butterfly in her house. I mean of all the things to show up. It does make you question are we being taken care of somehow

That must be so hard being a cat that’s blind. I had a friend who had a deaf dog and it could understand sign language. But a blind cat  wow. I guess they stay home all the time? I love that Basil is still there and you can touch him is amazing. Animals truly are magical beings

Am okay...plodding on as you do xx
