Soldiers of God

Soldiers of God march forward
to claim your prize, the battle is
the Lords and the victory is ours.
Soldiers of God wear the full Armor
of God and stand against the devils
schemes,be ready to face your adversary
well equipped before he strikes.
Soldiers of God fight the good fight, our
fight is not against flesh and blood but
against darkness and spiritual forces
in the heavenly realms.
Soldiers of God be courageous, God
did not give us a spirit of timidity and
fear but we have a spirit of power, love
and a sound mind.
Soldiers of God you might feel despised,
rejected and criticized by the world but
greater is he that is in us than he that is
in the world, no weapon formed against
us shall prosper.
Soldiers of God the days have been
shortened for the elect, soon the good
fight will be over, we will hear the
trumpet and be caught up in the air
to meet the king of glory.
Soldiers of God what a glorious day
that will be? All our suffering will be
over and we will live in a place of
eternal rest.

Hi thanks for comment and vote.
Stephanie Naidoo poem for his title lends itself to confusion, soldiers are always for the wars and in the Kingdom of God just there is Fellowship, but after reading the composition is much better understood the title of the poem.
Stephanie says:
“Los soldados de Dios son valientes, Dios no nos dio un espíritu tímido plagado de
Miedo, tenemos un espíritu de poder, amor y una mente sana. Los soldados de Dios pueden sentirse despreciados, rechazados y criticados por el mundo, pero mayor es el que está en nosotros que el que es en el mundo, ningún arma forjada contra nosotros va a prosperar”
The world is full of shadows harmful to sowing discord, fear, and pain, but also there is a legion of angels extending their hands, planting hope, love and illusion. I loved the poem, Stephanie Naidoo is a great poet.
