Some Roses Fly

Some Roses Fly

There aren't many things
To smile at in this world
But at least you can look at the sky
After waves of pressure weigh down
And your feelings,
Heavy like the burdens
On your shoulders are scattered
Like rose petals,
When the world is so dark
That you can't see into tomorrow,
You lie face down in a garden
Of roses that have long since
Bloomed and died off,
After all that you see in life
Becomes a lie
In a tragic one sided love story
You sit at the edge
Trying to smoke
Your problems away
Just think
There aren't many things
To smile at in this world
But at least you can look at the sky
