Poem -

somebody once told me

Somebody once told me,

That you loved me.

But that was a lie.

Somebody once told me,

We were meant to last forever.

But the hands of tie ruined us,

The beat us black and blue until we lost all sense of reality

Unable to tell what’s real..

The ghosts of the past start to feel the empty spaces.

Somebody once told me,

That I loved you and you loved me

But they were wrong.

Somebody once told me

They were lies.

We were never meant to last forever.

Only a distant dream in the back of my head,

Never to happen.

Somebody once told me.
