Poem -

SOMEONE ELSE'S ARMS

Mommy...

How was it when you would come running into my room when I was four years old...

Grab me in your arms...

Didn't you hide behind me?

You said as long as I was there...

You wouldn't get hurt...

When it all began to get worst...

I was the one you said...

You didn't really want?

You got me off my closet floor and after closing the bedroom door...

He came upstairs yelling...

We then sat down on the bed...

Your face was red and you were still crying...

Growing up with you and dad...

Was not a choice I had...

As long I was there...

At least around...

Did I do my job well?

As long as I was near...

You were safe in my arms...

This earth you left...

I am sure you are safe and sound in...

Someone elses arms...

I will always love you Mom!

You never did answer...

Maybe,  you were still finding the answer?

With Love,

Hugs...

Hello Debs...

This is true and it...

It was off and on until...

My mother passed away...

My dad put on the best act afterwards...

He passed away two months later...

Chains were broken that day...

They had no idea what was going on at school either...

Thank you for your comment...

Hugs...

Hello Sis Cherie...

I couldn't stop the violence...

Sometimes,  I could diffuse and...

If I couldn't...

It was a burning inferno...

It totally stopped when my mother got cancer and I took her away from him...

They passed away just before tbeir 50 years together...

There were a couple of temporary separations, but then...

I was the tug of war piece...

So my mother took him back for my sake...

Then age told her...

They were together along time...

She still loved him...

How I came to be me...

Was I became and I asked potter to mold and sculpt me...

I didn't know so many things that were in place...

For my safety...

Until, after I became the clay...

Thank you for your comment...

It would be really good if no one could relate to this write...

If anyone can...

Be of good courage...

Hugs...

Hi, my dear sparrowsong,

I am sure your Mother is smiling down from Heaven, looking at her beautiful little girl, and feeling so proud of what she engendered.  You were just four years old, yet she found comfort in your loving arms, which I am sure as you grew older, did not end.  Yes, sparrowsong, you did your job beautifully.

Hugs, Peace and Love,

xox Larry

Hello Larry...

Your kind words brought tears to my eyes...

Thank you very much!

I couldn't protect her all the time...

God knows I tried...

I couldn't be there all the time...

Someone always stopped me from calling the police...

Besides, he would be out in twenty-four hours and...

It would have been worst...

Thank you again for your kind words...

Hugs and Smiles!
