Now that IS a quandary, Neville. Hmmm.... What shall we call a sky with no moon or Sun? ๐ค hmmm.... I take it there would be no stars either as they are also sun's and planets and moon's. I know, we would call it a lid... That is my suggestion. Seriously though, this is a lovely little poem that seems to have dipped its toes into the nursery rhyme zone. I absolutely love this xx

Neville what deep profound thinking in such a little write. You have me pondering intently on these lines my friend. Hmmm I guess without a sun or moon we wouldnโt get to call the sky anything, because we simply wouldnโt exist to do so. I think therefore poetry is indeed more than just a song. Although songs can feel poetic and poems can have rhythm, each can stand alone. Wow your piece has done a little number on me ๐ I love itย
if I made you ponder, I am either more impressed with myself than I ever imagined possible ... or deeply sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused and will happily pay any penalty imposed .................. x
Well...from the dialogue here this must be a question? The sun and moon are irrelevant to the sky really(sort of)ย the sun being an independent star and the moon being a planet( sort of) caught in earths atmosphere whilst the sky is exactly that...nothing but an atmosphere. Of course all things are interlinked as you pointed out with the words a poem is just a lyric without a tune. Course without the sun I'm not sure if we would see the sky at all...I'm off to ask Brian... my favourite man ๐๐๐
Hello Marion,
