Sometimes

     Sometimes I feel like 
not feeling nothing at all
everything I think 
everything I drink 
is the story of my rise and fall
     Sometimes I’m on top of the  world 
it’s a pretty hefty fall from way up there 
it ain’t pretty at all
     Sometimes  I thank The Lord 
that I can feel anything at all
every thing I think 
Are His Word put in ink
