Poem -

Song my lullaby.

While I was hopeful and time promised
That he would lead my stars at night
I wasn't prepared for the darkness,  once he turned out the light,

They say love is for the dreamers,  and he , no longer sleeps,  but deep inside his heart for always,  a tenderness he keeps

I know he's lost in thoughts of love, and shall not sing my lullaby,  but I still had hoped for another chance to see our flame grow high

And so I stay in darkness,  with what little light I have withholding to heart, and dream the dreams he cannot dream those to never part.
