songs by moonlight.

Just past midnight
he sang to her

By the gentle light
of a crimson moon

Songs of delight
as they kissed And swayed in tune

She was in a little place
called heaven within his care

Never seen it coming
nor sensed the darkness there
Under loves command

He had an inner demon
soon to place demand

Bleeding songs of horror
she didn't understand

Blood covered floor
no desire within his hand

Playing the songs over
and over again

upon the strings of her heart
stretched out tightly

Quivering within the dark
blew out the candle
by the crimson moon

Entrapped within the sorrow
Her heart playing out of tune

The demon had
many songs to share

But non of love
only darkness And despair

Taunting the angel
within delight

Her weakened heart
Gave up the fight

Crimson moon another night
Devils songs by moonlight.
