Sonnet of a Sinner

CHORUS
I'm guilty of failing to love
I'm guilty of failing to love
I'm guilty of failing to love...
perfectly
____
I've turned from its bright shining face
I've trampled its efforts at grace
I'm guilty of failing to love...
perfectly
[CHORUS]
___
I've dropped out of harmony
I've not set the captives free
I'm guilty
of failing to love...
I've broken away from the line
I've walked out of step, out of time
I'm guilty of failing to love...
perfectly
perfectly
____
How can I blame love
When I didn't dance
Surely its faultless and lost in romance
I shattered the image
Tossed every chance
I convinced myself
it wasn't for me
[CHORUS]
perfectlyÂ

IF, a " sinner " be a " winner " how do YOU view them ?
When, does the " sinner " become acclaimed as a " saint " ?
What does the " sinner " have to do to not be considered " trickster " or " fraudster " ? YOU, must define sin on your own terms. YOU, must grade threat to your person, and livelihood. Not, pander to unproven, untested, unreliable notions of others. But, take RESPONSIBILITY for your welfare, even by choosing carefully those you associate with for your protection.
A SINNER MIGHT HAVE YOUR INTERESTS AT HEART....WHERE A " FALSE SMILE " DOES NOT. YOU, must learn to live as well as learn to love. Correctly, for the sake of a future, and the health and happiness possible, there ! :) :) KNOW, TRUST AND LOYALTY. Research " Saint Michael " for instance, and his care for others. By force. Sword and shield used !!! :)
" BEWARE OF THOSE BEARING FALSE GIFTS. " Obviously. :) ( And, false smiles ). :)
A Sinner is exactly what the poem states. Failing to love perfectly. Sin is falling short of Divinity which leaves your life mortal and perishable. Perfect Love brings immortality, sets free, results in everlasting fruit. The KEY is to understand that Parfect Love is FOR me (not against me). As the last few lines indicate, I disqualify myself... because the grace of Love is always "sufficient", and being in orbit (participating in Love) requires knowledge of the Truth that "Love can be trusted" even when you haven't "measured up" to your own expectations. Love wins. And the one in its orbit is "perfectly His".Â
