Poem -
SOUL GREEN
When you slept
Your lids would roll back
Leaving blue whites on display
The soul green not returning
Till the darkness went away
And when you dreamt
You'd wake from far off worlds
You were never one for here
Inconsolable baby bundle
Red hot rage and tiny tears
And in the morn your eyes
would open
To reveal the life within, and
Two fists in a rosebud mouth
You'd howl the sweetest din
And the world would know
your hunger
And some things never change
Just 30 years on this world, then
Off exploring once again
And I hope you find your
answers
I hope you find your peace
And I wish you every star out
there and,
A paradise of peace...
