"THE SOUL ( of a serial killer)..."

Over hills I've seen, spattering's of red
Across winters snowy dead
Women, his preoccupation
And his talk of them, less than agreeable
He carried pornographic photographs
Of bleeding Lovers
Ready to be displayed
As sepulchers
And tawdry testaments
He was in the habit
Of taking pills
Comprised of strychnine, morphine
And cocaine,
Of which the impending
Heart attack
Would be............Aphrodisiac
In short,
He was a degenerate
Slave, to filthy desires and practices
Killing every whore he met
With torture-driven malice,
Where watching them die
Slowly,
Was not enough
He had to eat their livers
And then vomit them up
Into a cup
Which he then, delivered
To each of their mothers,
Just so he could watch
Each of them
Lose,
Their souls....

OMG Tony!! I know you probably think I'm crazy but I LOVE this write!! I'm sure some know I like the darker writes and you definitely accomplished the feeling of darkness! It is such a sinister write...the ending was gory...didn't see that twist coming!! It's awesome how you could put yourself inside the mind of a killer!!

Hey T, intense and descriptive and well written, reminds me a bit of Norman Mailer and his Chicago slaughter houses articles back in the day...I've never been a fan of the dark writes, but you did really good work here...serial killers have been described as modern day vampires and touch what most fear most; what they can't control or understand or reason with and may come after them...don't know if you've ever seen the move 7, maybe the best written movie I've ever seen; (something tells me you've seen it) Kevin Spacey is superb; plays a serial killer with the seven deadly sins as his blue print; amazing movie... violence is a horrible and evil force that seem to draw many to it; some say Jack the Ripper is the most memorable man (creature) of his age and is still remembered and fascinates even now...hey the world is not an altogether beautiful place, much more bad exists than good, respect for how you carried the tone till the end and gave snapshots of this twisted reality; the mind of a serial killer, interesting piece ...cheers my friend Â
Enjoyed much the below quoted lines,

A darker poem I couldn't have written. The last two phrases was a new delivery of sadistic rites. Seems to me this man would not have been too popular in a nunnery. Otherwise, excellent working and delivery...
