Soul went to rest

Soul went to rest

My heart cries secretly for the one

who was once so dear to me.

She is greatly missed, these tears

don't lie that falls from my eyes.

Her sweet memories flood my

mind, the days we spend together

will live in this aching heart.

I clearly hear her voice in my head,

trying to create  a perfect image of

her in my mind.

She left me, her only sister, alone

to miss her company.

She touched my life while she was

here but broke my heart when she

left to go home.

Death knocked at her door quite

early, snatching my only sister

away to miss her company.

Her time was over, heaven's door

opened wide awaiting her arrival,there

her soul went to rest.

Angels carried her home,they held

her hand and led her to a place of light,

there her soul went to rest.
