Souls Live On

Ever felt what they call déjà vu
And wondered why you get it
What if that Is memories
Of your past life and you can’t forget it?
 
Imagine that was a memory you did
In a lifetime, long before
Before you lived your present life
And died and lived some more
 
I mean what if you die & come back again
A second shot to live your life
To learn from mistakes and faults you caused
And to leave behind any strife
 
Who says we don’t live on earth
Then move to another planet?
Maybe we age and only our bodies die
Then our souls start to transmit
 
There can’t just be this life
Then A short and painful death
I believe we’re put on earth
And going through a test
 
To see how we treat other humans
Whether we are good or bad or love
To see whether we deserve to live
Eternally in heaven above
 
I believe the heavens are true
And that is where the good souls go
But that I just my belief
Who am I to know?
