Poem -

sparks in the dark

A dark and crowded room

is where you sit,

trying to solve your problems

while the glass piece is lit.

The spark lights up

but fades away fast,

while you inhale the fumes

and try to numb your past.

Don't get me wrong

for I do understand,

but one day that glass will shatter

and you don't know where it might land.

Soon you will start to feel pain

you won't be numb forever,

then you will regret all of this

and realize you weren't clever.

So what I'm trying to say is

you have no reason to spark,

embrace your past

don't hide in the dark.
