I thank my Lord for sending you

I know your heart is pure and your love is true

How wonderful to have each other

to be able to share and love one another

Two hearts entwined for all time

these two hearts yours and mine

Taking time to get to know you

oh so precious and long overdue

So much loneliness in both our lives

that God decided to override

I can only say thank you Lord

you saw my tears and heard my words

I will always treasure this time

that I can be his and him mine.
