The Spirit Went Elsewhere

The spirit passed from here
It stopped for little,
But It created everything
Before it leaves for another place.
It wasn't for the sky,
it wasn't for the sea,
it wasn't for the air,
All these, was in his pocket,
But it wasn't enough
To stay in his throne forever...
Only three centuries stayed
It kept us company,
I am wondering if it comes
around again for second time?
Now it travels in distant parts,
dull and frozen,
it creates a new tomorrow,
is bringing new hope...
Who knows if it returns again
in the same place,
to bring light to our night ,
to change our life ones again.
Do you know if the spirit returns
on top of white Pegasus?
If yes, don’t hide it from me,
You don’t have to tell me when,,
Its enough for me if it comes again,
Like the good old days,
I found it on the History books,
The days we light up the world...

Hi Nikos, it's good to hear your voice again.......I really liked this write.......although I must admit I'm not quite sure who was on the throne for three hundred years?........are you referring to a God?.........regardless, the poem is still compelling........I loved that he kept the sky, the sea, and the air in his pocket.........clever...........great write my friend........well done......tony xx
Thank you Tony ,
I was referring to Greek Civilization that it was on top of the world!

Nikos, this may be my favorite. I have read it about 10 times and get something more everytime I do.
