SPIRITUAL DNA - YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE
There are those with whom I share a spiritual DNA
and it's in the arms of their souls I want my head to lay.
Those with whom a connection was there before my birth,
its seeds have for millennia been carried on the wind, planted in the earth.
In our lives we have walked along the same pathways
and the love we feel has not just happened, it's been there always.
We've been there with each other when belief falters,
crossed flimsy bridges suspended over raging fires and angry waters.
How else can I explain times in my life when I've felt a presence
and all around me, whether within or without, acquires a luminescence.
And it is this that makes me say
that I am not a product of my physical DNA.
I don't have to see you to realise I know you.
We know not barriers or distance, love powers through.
Who am I to doubt what the universe is telling me.
Our words emanate from shared fields of creativity.

Bernie everything you have written here resonates. No we are not our DNA.
There is a magic behind the scenes I believe...call it whatever name you like but something more exists other than just the physical. I can see youve been busy and i will be back to catch up on all I've missed here x
