Spoiled And Sheltered A Small Part Of Darkness

I gave it life, love, and it's most deserving hate,
Tucked into bed after all it fed,
Now I wait, when ready it wakes.

Tearing through the layers of exposure
Seeking it out to shed some light,
I have no more
Patience, eviction seems right.

Way deep down where the light chokes,
Stirs of sin to come
Within, darkness provokes.

Guiding my hand in shame,
Actions have spoken louder than any words,
Excuses slip through bitten lips of who I blame
If the finger settles on anyone but me how absurd .
Retreat in me darkness, back to your hole
Where to wait until it's good to taint a freshly cleansed soul.
