Spring solstice

As tomorrow borrows today
The first sun of glorious light
Fiery ring Solstice spring

Nature will bring
The ides of summer
The riverbed awakens
From a frozen slumber

Life and death
And all the grief, love
Fresh breaths, And gruesome deaths
The ones who live
Will bring new life
In spring to come.

The simplest creatures whispers hints.
Coloured leaves and wilting stems.
As time seems to come to an end,
The forest sleeps again.
