STANDING ON A SOAPBOX

Who is listening to the words that I say
I speak to the masses every single day
Most of you just stare and just walk on by
I can't make you listen however hard I try

Maybe I should speak louder with a megaphone
Join forces with others instead of doing it alone
I speak my mind if only you heard what I speak
I'm not in it for glory and no attention do I seek

You will find me on a soapbox in Leicester Square
That's if you are bothered and should you really care
I will be the man that never gets fed up and bored
Despite the fact that I get constantly overlooked and ignored
