" STARLIGHT WOMAN "

In an all out gravitational pull, I'm like a moon around her investigation
As though for years I have been trying to find my way without navigation
To this very system of loves proliferation, and perfect harmony in balance
Like Libra's scales, the balance sublime, and her spin an outright challenge
Like a separate solar system, where all of our feelings are separate
And the delicate movement of time, ticking, forcing us not to forget
That we are ALL made up of the same materials from space
Which have been spinning and changing since the whole human race
Began it's trek across time, and God granted us a spark, divine
But when the heavens created HER, she gave the stars their shine
And she found her way, into my nervous system of rhyme
Now all I can do is sing for her, and then with each passing line
Try to explain how she's lit me on fire, like a forest aflame
Burning so hot she's searing my soul, consuming my love membrane
And she's taken control of my heartbeat, my ability to think, is hers
She's done this as an apparition, a moment in my dreams whispered
A phantasm in the glorious shine of heavens delight and celestial charms
As though a gift, placed beneath the tree, waiting for me Christmas morn
I am ever surprised, that the heavens could have been so kind
As to create the perfect woman, the one I'd held in my mind
She's always been there, spinning, waiting for me to find
The one thing I've always dreamt of
A Starlight Woman of love...
