Stars

Stars

Soft space in a milky sky
I see the night through a deeper
Minds eye,
My thoughts swirling effortlessly
Like a lonely space man
And yet I can't stop the whirlpool
Spinning me insane and
I like the view from empty eyes
As dripping stars fall
But so bright they still blind me
Till I can't see at all.

I like the view from empty eyes
As dripping stars fall

An intriguing and elusive image/idea; in a poem festooned with them.

You perfectly capture the sense of wonderment, awe and mystery of the cosmos (pun only slightly intended).

A beautiful work.
