Poem -

stars shall always burn bright.

He took the stars away
out of stupidity
And sat there in the dark
Dreaming of the light
he stole away from the night
within the darkness so stark
He tried relentlessly
To replace them one by one
But fell victim to heat
Over Exposure
burning within the sun
He should have stayed away
And sat within the night
Away from the morning light
Instead he tried
To replaced the stars
within the sky
One by one
Right through the night
Almost all complete
Within the morning light
He tied
with all his might
But his soul
it did take flight
Now forever in darkness
His body lost it's fight
No more stealing stars
Within the darkest night
For stars shall always
Burn bright.

Dear Nardine Sanderson,

Good write, thanks for sharing,my applause, my vote

He tied
with all his might
But his soul
it did take flight
Now forever in darkness
His body lost it's fight
No more stealing stars
Within the darkness night
For stars shall always
Burn bright.

Regards & Love
