Poem -

STARTING OVER

I'm sorry I killed them
But god he just smiled
You are forgiven my son
Go and rest for a while

And god called the animals
And gave them all guns
He is all yours to hunt
Go have yourselves fun

For he has a black heart
And is easy to know
He walks there in shadows
Where my light cannot go

But the animals
All turned back
To grazing the fields
Knew not of revenge
Had no axe to wield

And God he was grateful
He had some of it right
Was proud that his children
Knew nothing of spite

But the humans were different
Had broken his heart
So he flicked them to hell
And set time to restart
Without us.

Ah...thankyou my friend, inspired by a talented work of art, depicting the  blackest of souls, painted in beautiful colours. ????
