Statues upon the beach

Statues upon the beach

We are mere statues upon the beach

Beckoning in the waves

Completing the majestic ocean with our tears

For water and salt constitute the earth

Saying hello to moon tide, goodbye to misery

-

We are mere statues upon the beach

Under a round moon on the sand

Breathing in the air we are filled with

With the hope of tomorrow

This shedding light

Upon our being

Give up the fight

Bring back the feeling

-

We are mere statues upon the beach

Beckoning in the waves
