Stay Alert

Stay Alert

Things are changing, stay alert
A tragedy you may divert
If you can see what's going on
Before your chance has been and gone

We have to act at times like these
And see the wood, not just the trees
Outside each sphere of private dreams
Are many worlds of running streams

A place for all, and rightly so
And yet these days there's much to know
An information overload
Invading every small abode

So let's not fret amidst the news
Too many different thoughts and views
Some peaceful time would never hurt
And yet we need to stay alert
