A thief in the night,

You stole my heart,

You shattered my delight,

And lied from the start,

You captured my attention,

You vanquished my belief,

You tattered my contention,

And battered my relief,

You, a thief as well in reality,

Clearing out my bank account,

A criminal in actuality,

Now you want to make it up to me?

You want to reminisce?

Come have a drink and see,

The woman you claim to miss,

Come and drink a sip or two,

Is the wine not to your taste?

Your lips seem to be turning blue,

Is it the poison that I placed?

Your eyes seem to pop,

Your face a becoming shade of red,

You ask me to stop,

But you're already dead...
