STEALING FOR HIS LIVING PAYING FOR HIS LOVING

He stole for his living and paid for his loving
In houses in winter when snow needed shoving
Always at night and never during the day
Those inept cops were never in the way

Stealing jewellery and art with the occupants elsewhere
This was a man with no conscience or care
Sure this man was wanted his police records were thick
Always elusive and never missed a trick

One night in December during the year of 73
Things for him would sure turn out differently
For that is when this man was captured and caught
With those inept cops plea bargains now being sought

The man would be sentenced for a very long time
So endeth the lesson please don't turn to crime
