Stereotypes

Why can't we all just be left alone!

Stereotypes

Serene is amongst many a thing,
I’d say I love,
About our place we live.
But stereotypes say we are polluted,
With noise and light,
That Felixstowes’ docks,
 Clangs and knocks,
In the semi darkness,
give a sound so slight,
and an orange hue in tthe sky at night.
We are the tip of the county,
Cross the water,
And you are in the next.
They speak funny there,
Those people,
Across and down,
in Essex.
But to them,
We be country bumpkins,
Riding tractors,
Can’t rite,
Nor wread,
Sitting on our haystack,
Drinking ‘mead'.
From the corner of our mouths hanging,
Not ‘sigars',
Or ‘siggerettes
Instead,
There be a length of tweed!
I hate stereotypes,
But we all seem to fall victim to those thoughts,
They wear glasses,
So they must be the smart and brainy type.
Or someone looks unkempt,
So most steer clear as they don’t look nice,
And could be a vagrant.
Or someone’s on benefits,
They must be faking their illness,
So get on your bike.
Did you steal it?
Or are drugs your vice?
Man,
I really hate all these multi-different,
Types of Stereotypes.
It doesn’t matter where you are from,
Your social class,
Whether you’re white or black,
Foreign,
Or from a multi kingdom,
there's always going to be that small minded twat.
Surely by now,
In this age,
We are past all of that race hate crap.
Why can’t we live in peace and harmony,
All throughout our beautiful planet.
All living under one rule,
No religion in the world though,
Determining it!
No way at all!
A democratic republic,
Full of good morals,
And unjudgemental ways.
But that won’t happen yet,
As each and every country,
Are stubborn as shit!!
The ones leading our countries,
Cause these stereotypes,
Just like newspapers and magazines,
Telling you what’s trendy and right.
That people should all look airbrushed,
Not allowing the real beauty shin from within.
All we end up with,
Is women,
constantly thinking they are fat,
And have to be stick thin.
Even if it means,
Giving your body,
An unhealthy detoxification.
Can’t they just be left alone and be happy,
Whether big,
Curvy or slim.
Without daily stereotypes,
That their minds let creep in.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,
So what may not be right for one,
Is for another,
But pure perfection.
We all see things differently in life,
SO PLEASE STOP ALL OF THESE DIFFERENT TYPES OF STEREOTYPES!
