Still In Past

Still In Past

Echoes of silence in heart,
Shattered pieces part by part,
Poignancy lingering in murk,
Feelings lost in emotion's mart;
Hole on soul of spirit,
Strength-jumbled in labyrinth,
Rambling fear is stark;
Hollowness residing within,
Lips shiver to grin,
Pearls of tear torn apart;
Dreams-soothing and lucid,
Reality daunts with fluttering of eyelids,
Time steps backward;
Since you've gone i dwell in memories,
Like a thirsty homo on the shore of sea,
Waves of hope set ashore and depart.

Pine of heart,.."Since you've gone i dwell in memories, Like a thirsty homo on the shore of sea,.."..uses of metaphor enhancing beauty of the verse,...its pathetic expression yet very charming...i like.
