Poem -

stink.

I close the iron gates,
To keep you out,
Not only for privacy,
But for peace of mind,
A person uncaring,
Not welcome here,
Our own little,
Sheltering hemisphere,
The words written ,
with invisible ink,
Upon your trespassing foot,
Do sink,
Towards hell the very brink,
The smell of sulfur,
Forever you shall stink.

BLOSSOM

Just like your title Nardine this poem I feel holds a pungent and strong message to 'that' it is written for. Ā I could sense the strength in your words but also a vulnerability, even angst,Ā behind some of them.Ā

A person uncaring,
Not welcome here,
Our own little,
Sheltering hemisphere,

You conveyed the emotion perfectly. Ā A big 5*s from me hun:)
