~from the stones that rest coldly~.
Not feeling very poetic right now
Nor important to say the least
I can only imagine the things
inside his head, those thing's
He calls the beast~
What possessed me to become so
Hollow, though courageously mad
The very fact that living that way
Is nothing in reality, but sad~
Deep inside my heart i knew
about the lies, nothing compares
To the heavy weight , like a part of
you just dies, it's not about me
nor the fact i didn't try~
it's about the weakness in you,
who liked to watch me cry.
So from the stones
that rest coldly in my heart,
a tomb you won't ever leave,
nothing about this situation~
shall ever bring you reprieve,
its goodbye to you and your
horrific games, no owed to you,
in the halls of fame
Just the fact that I'm alive to tell
And you a mear penny Without
~A wishing well .

Felt the raw emotional turmoil of this one, my sis from down under....sombre tone, but so beautifully written, 'sad songs' can be enjoyed just as much as happy ones; No Doubt's Don't Speak is on my top 5 for the 21st Century, just saying...and no doubt, this is indeed a lovely poem.....and here's hoping all is well with you....cheers from across the cold deep seas.... love the fresh poignant feel of the pull quoted lines...cheers NardineÂ
