The Storm

There's a never-ending storm
The stars don't shine

In a teenage girl's room
Waves of sadness are easy to see

The darkness creeps in
It goes to the hidden blade

The blade screams at her
It needs to taste her salty skin
To feel the blood gush out of her wrists

She fights the urge
She tries to block out the screams
She texts her friends as a last resort

The ding of her phone comes too late
The knife has already won...

The knife is tasting her crimson blood
Tears flow like the storm outside

The storm slowly dies
She cleans up all evidence
"There is nothing wrong" she mumbles

The knife knows the truth
The blood stained towel knows the truth

The girl is stuck in a never-ending storm
It's simple really...

Depression is a never ending storm
It will never end.

Not until it's taken your life...

AUTHOR WILLIAMS...

Gabbie Schurman,

An excellent depicts of pain and its depression. My applause

The storm slowly dies
She cleans up all evidence
"There is nothing wrong" she mumbles

The knife knows the truth
The blood stained towel knows the truth
