Storm Arwen đź’¨

Storm Arwen đź’¨

Storm Arwen  came to us last Friday night

And Oh boy did she reek revenge, with all of her muster and might

Oh my God we all felt her fierce force alright

I have never ever seen such a howling hooley of a sight

The wild wind blew and that pelting rain poured

As those dam cats and dogs ferociously floored

There was not a chance in heaven, that storm Arwen could ever be ignored

Huh our moody Mother Earth, must have been bothered and bored

Well within a couple of hours our electricity was completely gone

Her plight had perished us all, and she had unfortunately won

Thousands of homes were left without any power, and that was no fun

Let’s face it, we rely on electricity for every single thing, when all is said and done

And what made things worse, our water supply ran out

Well of course that was the last straw, without any shadow of a doubt!!

So by the forth day of feeling fed up,  and freezing, we were all ready to shout

What the hell was that ninety eight mile an hour Storm Arwen all about!!!

I have never been so relieved to take a nice hot shower

Dam we lost our beloved forty year old tree in our garden, from her raging power

She knocked everything down like skittles, with her gusts of one hundred mile per hour

And I just thought at the time, God help anybody in this savage storm stuck up in a tower!!!
