Storms

Storms

Everyone's leaving
I'm left behind
The people I care about
Are no longer by my side

Sirens blaired their horns
A while back
But I never
Understood that

Until one by one
My friends left
And I'm stuck in the rubble
As you could guess

There's Thunder in my ears,
Rain down my cheeks,
Storms in my brain,
And no one wanting me

I refused to believe it was true
Until it was finally you
Then I found out
That you were going too

Everything fell silent
At least for a little bit
But once the clouds were near

Lightning filled my fears
Rain pounded my cheeks
Storms haunted my thoughts
And then I knew
no one loving me

I never forgot your eyes
But I also never forgot
The night
I may remember your love
But I'm still drenched
From the clouds above

Everyone's leaving me
As it's raining down my cheeks
