Storms in life

Every home faces pain, turmoil and suffering.

​Every person faces troubles, trials and tribulations.

The death of a loved one is devastating,

the rape of a sibling is extremely heart sore,

to lose a well paid job is depressing,

for a love less marriage to end in divorce is sorrowful,

for  a child to be born retarded is painful,

for a son to be hooked on drugs is gruesome,

for a mother to be diagnosed with cancer is scary and

to be infected with HIV/AIDS from a partner is distressing.

Life is not always pleasant, it can be horrible.

Life is not always good, it can be bad.

Life is not always perfect, it can be imperfect.

Tragedy can hit us when we least expect it, our

world can be turned upside down .

 During our storms in life we should remember that

 in this world we will face troubles but Jesus has 

overcome the world, sorrow may last for the night but

joy comes in the morning, there is always a rainbow

after a storm and at the end of a tunnel there  is a light.
