Poem -

Stranger of life's Antiquities

Held in the corner of a small box shed on a mountainside.

Too far to climb.

Out of reach from the world.

Out of sight.

Out of mind.

Death makes the climb.

Patience thin.

Kept at bay by your desire to live.

He'll never give.

Comes the rain and the ice and the pain.

Heaven to blame.

No place for a fire in the wet and the wind.

Only the sin.

You can only curse at the wind.

But there's always something.

A sliver of hope.

There must be something.

A little of nope.

I'm just so, I just must stand.

Life.

Give me pain.
