On stranger tides
~~On Stranger Tides
On stranger tides, I ride each wave,
I know I stand alone.
The moon is full inside my heart,
I walk the path I’m shown.
The sky above, it looks so blue,
No clouds can pull me down.
I lived to taste the highs above,
Let’s run free from this town.
Love moves like a careless wind,
Makes fools of each and all.
You’re wiser when you get back up,
Grow stronger with each fall.
You live you learn, in sands of time,
Never fool me twice.
Learn something new most everyday day,
Each mistake came with a price.
I stand so proud on mountain top,
No memories of regret.
I feel I got things right in life,
Life’s rain won’t get me wet.
