Strangers

Strangers

At first seeing you,
I thought could we be friends?
You approached me,
We had a nice talk & there on we becameĀ friends.
Ā
Then after some time,
From days to weeks and from months to years.
Our friendship grew to a bond calledĀ Best friends.
Ā
Then one day I realised that we had something missing,
That something was just a short feeling of love.
When I approached you for the same,
You didn't respond at first,
Just gave me a beatiful gaze.
Ā
When the things were going great,
I messed up the feeling between you and me.
Now we are once again strangers,
Just living our own life.
Ā
Can we be one, once again,
Just as the old days were.
You were my best friend,
Amongst all the others who betrayed me!
