Street MAGICIAN

All the onlookers in Washington Square Park, befuddled
A woman scratches her head wondering, "Where's my watch?"
This man is not just "Magic", he's a Maestro
Waving his baton, conducting the crowd, and gathering dollars
So that night he has a place to sleep
And as he gazes over his constantly morphing crowd
He can see the woman who's most likely to give him a five
And with unparalleled precision, he steps to his intent and ask's
"Dear lady, may I see your watch?"
"Of course." says she, for she must surely please the crowd
And as her jewelry vanishes and the crowd thunders with streetwise pride
The magician slips the dollars into his pockets on each side
Now, how clever is this, for the truth of this public tryst
Is that he lives in a beautiful condo
On the upper eastside
Street Magician
