Poem -

Street Talk.

Cobbled streets, so hard and cold.
Totter ageing people, walking sticks their hands shakily hold.

Horse and cart canter by, a noisy plane zooms past in the sky.

A coffee shop emits its aroma, a down and out on the cobbled streets lies in a drunken coma.

Mums with children shop for food, kids behaving really good.

Postman pat delivers the mail, police car quickly passes, it is going to the local jail.

Farmer jack to the grocers delivers his organic veg, a big ginger cat sits on the grocers window ledge.

Cobbled streets so hard and cold, nearly always has a story to be told.
