"Strength in Pain": Dedicated to Gina McGriff & Gwen Lewis

Both men and women of all races fighting an everlasting race with valor and dignity reaching towards a common goal. To be free and rid themselves of the cancer within that is gripping not only their body but their soul.
But many will find the mental and physical pain of the treatments, nothing compared to the feelings that will flood them once they realize they have beaten this dark entity, unknown to the human body, foreign. And even if we save only a few, we have won!
This occurs out of an everlasting peace and hope instilled in us from birth so that no matter how long our life is, the element of time is not the most important part of our particular puzzle. The pertinent part is how you impact the lives around you as they are the pieces that guide and connect you through the good times and times of trouble.
In the end whether the outcome be positive or negative it is the completed picture you leave behind, portraying your story, your journey. This may one day help those facing similar struggles by depicting to them the tools of how to cope, move on and focus on all the positive pieces in their life that they may not even see.
