Sit alone when everybody has left
waiting patiently for his voice
staying faithful to the end

I know my father is coming to get me
and deliver me to a better place

While demons on both sides taunt me
they have seen my wrong doings
they've seen my sins
and wont let me forget

We're going to throw you in the pit
we will deal with your family
destroy them and
wipe out your inheritance

Suddenly in my state of darkness
a light flashed brightly from above
a sword appeared
blazing with fire
and a voice spoke
into the atmosphere

Have no fear son
for I am here
swing the sword once
and the room shall be clear

The lord will deliver me
he will set my soul free
